G                Em                     C                 D
'Cus if you don't then your feet will get cold

G                        C

And for some reason I still find that I love you

CHORUS
{
G                            C

Em                      D
Before the coldness hurts you
G                Em                     C                 D
Because a dead dog isn't much fun at all   }x2

Color, Sound, and other Fun Infinites.

This post is more or less just me jotting down ordered thoughts, sorry about it not being in a nice 'bloggy' format.

There are multiple sizes of infinity, infinite sizes of infinity if you would.
Our brain uses two techniques to interpret these infinities. The first would be called 1. This is the edge of infinity, it is our brain (from what I have researched it is the left brain that does this) segmenting infinite into groups we can comprehend and use.
Example 1: Color

We have the group of infinity (from the electromagnetic spectrum infinity) called visible light. Light then is an infinity of frequencies between infrared and ultra violet that we can see. We then separate the visible light that we can see into groups called colors. Within color is a infinite set of shades or hues that we assign names.

EMS->Visible Light->Blue->Light Blue

That would go on forever so long as we could define the differences in infinities that we see.

The same thing can be done with Sound. Lets start with the group 'Sounds we can hear'.

Sounds we can hear->C->Cm->Cm7

For me the easiest way to imagine this is with a tree. The base of the tree being your starting infinity (Color, Sound, Language, Music). Then the new infinities in it (Blue, C, English, Rock) become branches, each branch has its own branches (Light Blue, Cm, Nouns, Grunge), which has its own infinities (Baby Blue, Cm7, Proper Nouns, Nirvana).

We define infinities as we see fit.

Each infinity could be considered a scope or context. For example, we didn't need a definition for say... Grunge, until we need a way to group different types of Rock. As we look deeper into an infinity we will find more infinities.

Our brain is constantly looking at the world around us and grouping it in either "Same" or "Different" as a way of effectively managing what we interact with. A fun exercise that you can do is to take and look at the things around you and see how you can group different objects together in your head. For my room I could do Clothing, Clothing I'm Wearing, Clothing on my feet. I could also do; Games, games on cartridge, NES cartridges, Nintendo authorized NES cartridges. The list literally goes on and on forever.

This method of infinite groups can be applied to ANYTHING because we are constantly analyzing deeper and deeper the world around us, and we need ways to define the things we observe.

That's all I can think of for now, just remember. You are an individual, and you are the universe.

Starting from the Start - (Closing the Gap)

 Authors Note- This is the first blog post in what I hope to be a fairly long series of posts; most of which will be about Christianity and my thoughts and opinions about it. We can also talk about music and technology (I love me some music and technology). I figured since this is the start we might as well start with the fundamental idea in Christianity, "Jesus Christ saved us from our sins", the following post will be my ideas on the subject. I hope you enjoy the post and the rest that are to follow.

The Salvation story goes like this:

First God and Man were close together. They walked and talked together in the Garden and things were awesome.

GM

Then Man sins and is separated from God. This is known as "The Fall" and is found in Genesis 3. This sin becomes a divider between God and Man.

G-S-M

Now God and Man are separated and cannot have the relationship that God originally wanted them to. This is a big deal to God. It wasn't like "Oh, Mike is leaving, oh okay. Yeah he is alright but we don't really.. oh his name is Jim, my bad." This was God losing people that he loved unconditionally. God wanted more then anything to get Man back, so he gave everything. This is where Jesus comes in. Jesus is God and a human (or "God in flesh"). Jesus (because he was God) was born without sin nature. "Sin nature" is that awayness between Man and God (its the "-" in G-M). Jesus also never sinned. He was with God in the way that Adam was before the fall (GM). When Jesus was crucified he took away the price of sin, that is, "G-S-M" became "G-M", because he was perfect.

G-M

Now we get into forgiveness. You see there are two forms of forgiveness. The first is form of forgiveness is one party eliminating the others debt. It would be like if a friend of mine had stolen my wallet containing $40 dollars and me telling him that he did not own me $40 dollars. I forgave him. This doesn't not mean though that I would then allow my friend near my wallet again. This is the second form of forgiveness. A mutual restoration of the relationship of the two parties. This would be me regaining trust for my friend. When Jesus died sin was forgiven (you don't owe God $40), but that gap still exist where sin once was. This is salvation; Jesus removing the cost of sin and you and God restoring your relationship to what it was meant to be.
